Experiential Study in Government is designed for students who need academic credit to undertake work or internship opportunities, such as international students on an F-1 visa who want to undertake curricular practical training (CPT) over the summer. Students who participate in this program will enroll in a 1-credit course, Experiential Study 1r, concurrently (for term-time opportunities) or in the following semester (for summer opportunities). Successful completion of Experiential Study 1r requires students to submit a portfolio of work related to their job or internship experience.
Full information about the Experiential Study program can be found on the Office of Undergraduate Education website. Government concentrators interested in Experiential Study should contact Dr. Gabriel Katsh, Assistant Director of Undergraduate Studies in Government, for more information.
