Zhiyu Li is a Ph.D. student in Government at Harvard. He is broadly interested in political methodology with a special interest in multimodal data analysis (i.e. {text, image, audio, video}-as-data). Substantively, he is interested in social media, governance, and social movements. Besides, he is fascinated by the endeavor of making computational and statistical methods, as well as social science findings accessible to a broad audience. He holds an MSc in Statistics from the London School of Economics and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Nanjing University. Before coming to Harvard, he worked as a research assistant at HKUST. He also studied at National Taiwan University.
