I am a first-year PhD student in Government with a focus on international political economy, foreign direct investment, and the U.S.-China great power competition. At Harvard, my research will explore how countries craft industrial policies and incentivize multinational firms to secure a competitive advantage in advanced technologies and the broader global arena. Prior to joining the PhD program, I earned my B.A. in Political Science and Arabic from UC Berkeley and my M.A. in Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard. I also completed quantitative training at the University of Chicago.
