I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Government studying health diplomacy, health security, and foreign aid. My research centers on how states and non-state actors strategically use healthcare to achieve political objectives and the conditions under which such strategies succeed. I also contribute to improving healthcare provision in conflict-prone environments through my work with GHESKIO, a medical and research center in Port-au-Prince, and ALIMA, a humanitarian NGO providing medical care in Central and West Africa. Prior to my graduate studies, I spent time working as a health economics and outcomes research analyst. I am affiliated with the Institute for Quantitative Social Science, the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, and the Center for American Politics. I serve on the Associate Board for ALIMA.
