Monica is a member of the Department’s leadership team and partners with the Department Chair to manage the overall strategic direction of the Department. With the support of the Department’s core managers, Monica oversees general administration, human resources, financial and sponsored operations, academic administration, facilities, and research compliance within the Department.
Monica works closely with faculty committees on a variety of areas, including diversity, equity, and inclusion matters. She serves as the department representative and liaises regularly on matters of university compliance with our Division of Social Sciences office, Faculty Affairs, FAS Human Resources, FAS Finance and Research Administration, FAS Physical Resources and Planning, the Office of Labor and Employee Relations, and the Office of General Council, among others. Monica also serves in few FAS committees.
