I am a PhD student in the Government Department at Harvard University. My research involves issues of representation (political parties, elections, voting behavior) and political economy (development, inequality, redistribution) in Latin America, leveraging natural experiments, surveys, and administrative data. Prior to joining Harvard, I received a BA from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco and a MSc from the Fundação Getulio Vargas, both in Brazil.
