Hayley is a first-year doctoral student in the Department of Government. She is broadly interested in the interaction between American political institutions and the mass public with a particular focus on democratic representation, accountability, and political parties. Prior to Harvard, she worked in data science at a survey research firm. She is a graduate of Middlebury College (BA) and the University of Chicago (MA).
