Hey everyone! My name is Emory, and I am originally from Marietta, Georgia. I’m a senior in Cabot House concentrating in Government on the Public Policy track with a secondary in Sociology. I am particularly interested in housing and homelessness through the realms of social policy, public interest law, and social movements. I have been fortunate enough to immerse myself in these fields through positions in public service, policy advocacy, and local government. I would love to advise and connect with anyone interested in similar topics as me since I have great course, faculty, and extracurricular recommendations!
On campus, I serve as the co-Director of the HSHS Street Outreach Team, the Public Service Representative for Cabot House, and a Student Assistant at Houghton Library. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball, skateboarding, and watching movies. Please reach out if I can be of any assistance regarding switching concentrations, thesis writing, and course selection. I have learned a lot throughout my time so far in the Government Department, and I’m looking forward to serving as a resource however best I can!
