Peer Concentration Counselor
Class of 2025 (Dunster House)

Hello everyone, my name is Azeez Richardson, and I am originally from Newark, NJ. I’m a senior in Dunster concentrating in Government with a secondary in Economics, and I’m excited to be a resource for all of y’all this year!

I am deeply interested in a wide gamut of political issues such as constitutional law, the Supreme Court, racial politics, foreign affairs, and political economy. Some of my favorite courses that I’ve taken are GOV 1510: American Constitutional Law with Professor Richard Fallon, GOV94OA: American Inequality and Democracy with Professor Theda Skocpol, and GOV 50, of which I was a course assistant.

On campus, I have served on the boards of the IOP Fellows and Study Groups, the Black Men’s Forum, the Black Pre-Law Association, and Eleganza. Additionally, I’ve also held internships at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Boston Consulting Group, and Audible. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, reading political/historical nonfiction, and spending time with friends. Please reach out if I can be of any assistance regarding internships, getting involved with the IOP, Government classes, being pre-law, or being black at Harvard. I’ve really enjoyed my time so far in the Government department and am excited to contribute to this community!
