Hi everyone, my name is Anna Keller and I’m from Jacksonville, Florida (go Jags!). I’m a junior in Mather House studying Government and I’m excited to be a PCC this year!
I chose Government because of the wide range of topics you can learn about and the agency you have to choose classes that both fulfill concentration requirements and are actually interesting to you. I’m a firm believer that if a class is interesting, any work you have will feel less like actual work—so pick classes that are somewhat interesting to you. A few of my favorite Government classes are Professor Hummel’s GOV 1249: Authoritarianism and my sophomore tutorial (Gov 97) on Misinformation and Conspiracy Theories in American Politics.
On campus, I am involved in Army ROTC in the Paul Revere Battalion and in the Harvard Investment Association (HIA) and a part of the Catholic center! In my free time, I enjoy running, playing tennis and pickleball, trying new recipes, and watching movies with my friends. Please reach out if I can help you in any way with any Government concentration knowledge or if you are interested in ROTC or civil-military relations. I’m so excited for a great year and am ready to contribute to the Government department!
