Five Gov seniors elected to Phi Beta Kappa

Felix Chen, Ryan Doan-Nguyen, Addie Esposito, Eytan Goldstein, Anna MacLennan, and Kaleena Roeva have been elected to Phi Beta Kappa (PBK), Alpha of Massachusetts at Harvard College.

The five seniors join three Government concentrators in the class of 2025 – Ethan Jasny, Katalina Toth, and Kay Rollins – who were elected last spring.

Established under a charter dated December 4, 1779, the charter was granted – along with one for Yale – by the original society founded three years earlier at the College of William and Mary in Virginia. The charter was brought to Harvard by Elisha Parmele A.B. 1778, who initiated four juniors on the day before Commencement 1781. The first meeting of the new chapter was held on September 8, 1781, making Harvard’s chapter the oldest in continuous existence.

Membership in PBK is an honor bestowed on those whose coursework demonstrates not only high achievement, but also breadth of interest, depth of understanding, and intellectual honesty. Congratulations to Felix, Doan, Addie, Eytan, Anna, and Kaleena on their selection.
